Arc Welding Equipment

Carroll Welding Supply proudly offers Miller Electric's premium welding equipment. Several popular Miller products are available in our store and all are machines manufactured by Miller are available by special order. Find out more about each process Miller covers below.

SMAW - Shielded Metal Arc Welding, or as most know the term Stick welding. Stick welding uses a flux coated electrode and a constant current power source. Carroll keeps the Thunderbolt and the engine driven Bobcat series in stock and ready to use. Find other CC models on Miller's website.
GMAW - Gas Metal Arc Welding, also known at MIG - Metal Inert Gas, or Wire welding. MIG welding uses a solid, non-coated wire and an inert shielding gas to protect the weld puddle. The popular Millermatic series provides the power for GMAW processes to suit the needs all the way from the hobbyist to the fabricator. Check out the Millermatic line at MillerWelds.com
GTAW - Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, also known as TIG - Tungsten Inert Gas welding. TIG welding uses a constant current power source and a hand held torch to complete the weld circuit. A electrode that is consumed in the weld puddle is fed by hand to fill the weld gap. Miller offers several TIG models from a the portable Maxstar to the feature rich Dynasty.
Miller offers a MIG spool gun solution for every Millermatic and most engine driven welders including the Bobcat series engine driven power sources. Find out more about spool gun wire feeders on Miller Electric's website.
Spot Welding or Resistance welding uses a set of stationary or hand held tongs to clamp and hold the work piece together while the weld current is passed through the material creating the weld within the material. Miller offers several air and water cooled spot welding solutions, and more information is available on their website.
