Customer Owned Oxygen Cylinders Filled In About 15 Minutes

Filling

clock showing 15 minutes

We will strive to fill your oxygen cylinders up to a maximum of 2 cylinders in about 15 minutes in most circumstances. However, from time to time mechanical failures of our pumping system will prevent us from meeting this goal. If you bring 3 or more cylinders it will cause a delay in service your cylinders, please allow more time.

Testing

The DOT requires cylinders used in compressed gas service to be requalified periodically. Generally once every five years, but it depends on the cylinder specification. In order to fill your cylinder in about 15 minutes, the cylinder must not be due for requalification. If testing is needed it will be 3 - 7 business days to test your cylinder.

Serviceable Condition

A cylinder that has been damaged, exposed to fire, bulging, crushed, or any other damage that may compromise the integrity of the cylinder must be successfully requalified before it can be filled. In this case it will take 3 - 7 business days to test your cylinder.

Cylinder Ownership

DOT regulations prohibit a cylinder from being offered for transportation without consent of the owner. In other words a cylinder cannot be filled without consent of the owner. In order to establish clear ownership we will require a bill of sale for the cylinder.

Ownership Records

We will make photocopies of your bill of sale and record it in our permanent file. This way you will not experience unnecessary delays due to not having your paperwork on you.
